Topic | I'm a math teacher. What should I use for "online teaching"? |
parabola_master 04/07/20 6:24:00 PM #1: | In other words, if you were a middle school student taking an online math class (which is not IDEAL, of course, it's a sucky situation all around), would you prefer if your teacher: a) showed a powerpoint presentation while he talked over it, b) filmed himself in his room with, say, a giant whiteboard c) used an "overhead projector" camera angle where the only thing that's being recorded is a piece of paper/mini whiteboard and the teacher writing things on it d) used a drawing tablet and made a khanacademy-esque video Hope this makes sense. I just wanna stick to one and start practicing. I think I'm leaning towards the c), since I'll be teaching geometry so I would need to show my students how to use a protractor for angles and that might be easiest if I zoom in on my hands and paper --- i.imgur.com/mkGoWsg.jpg i.imgur.com/mkGoWsg.jpg i.imgur.com/mkGoWsg.jpg ...
