Not a fair statement.

The US has a much larger population and a different healthcare system. Just looking at broad ICU surivor percentages tells you nothing

If you can afford it, the healthcare in the US is actually a higher standard

Looking specifically at Health in the US the number of people without Health Insurance is increasing. So those that can afford it is decreasing. What good is a higher standard of healthcare (I question that to be honest but we can cover that later) if it isn't accessible for an increasing number of people?

Let's look at the facts. NOTE: These are from official data from the government. Sources are below.

25.6 million people didn't have health care insurance for the entire year of 2017. This increased to 27.5 million in 2018. For the country with the highest GDP in the world by a significant margin and a GDP per Capita value that puts the US at 11th this should be shocking news for Americans to read. Worth bearing in mind that the US being 11th on the list of highest GDP per Capita also puts it as the number one G20 country on the list. So why is it struggling so much to provide healthcare to an increasing number of it's citizens compared to countries that have weaker economies?
