NOOOOOOO YOU ABSOLUTE MADWOMAN DON'T DO IT

Since you seem to be familiar with the franchise, can you tell me if it would be okay for me to watch this spin-off with no prior experience in the franchise? Or would I be totally lost without seeing a few other things first?
From the details, honestly no clue as to how the side series will play out. It was announced like 3-4 days ago or so I think? The only knowledge required is probably any reference to the original (or any character relations they don't bother explaining) and the character Ibuki, who isekai's into that world. This world is supposedly a world where Vanguard, the card game, isn't nearly as popular, and everything seems relatively like our world.

Ibuki is this overly serious edgelord who was a bit of a wimp when he was young. I think there's a whole arc in V-series and a movie (where he was the antagonist) explaining how he grew up to be the way he is. In the V-series, where he is a main character, he acts a mentor figure in the dark to the main character of the V-series, since he was a friend of the guy's dad and owes him a lot. He's frequently misunderstood to be a bad guy due to what happens in the Vanguard movie, but he only acts with good intentions in the main series.

Ibuki also travels back in time somehow? The main character of this spin-off is a high schooler in V-series, but here she's I think a grade schooler like in the main series? The main series and V-series have a 7 year gap, and she appears in both as the main series' main character's younger sister. She's sorta the precocious but jolly girl who's willing to fight back against her older brother's bullies lol. She uses Bermuda Triangle in the main series, which is a clan made up of mermaids that are idols. Also has a best friend who looks an awful like Sakura's best friend from Cardcaptor Sakura

The older looking blue haired girl is Suika who is this mysterious idol employed by this entertainment company that's the center of a lot of the main series plot. She acts as a secretary figure of sorts and generally acts all mysterious and shit.

No clue who that red haired girl is tho. Oh ok after searching, she's an original character who's a card spirit based on a pre-existing card

Also from what I can find, it's been delayed to the 25th due to Corona.
