Stay in China with your elderly parents (with pre-existing health conditions), wife, and child and risk their lives by staying in a place where, at the time, was the 2nd hardest hit place in the world (Zhejiang province) and a medical system you wouldn't trust to treat an ingrown toenail let alone a deadly virus. 2. Return to Canada on your own while leaving your wife and young child alone to fend for themselves (or bring my daughter with me and let me wife suffer alone). 3. Go to Thailand where you already own a home, received free flights out of China (well for your wife and child at least), and have access to cheaper and generally speaking, superior medical care. And at the time of going there had less than 40 cases country wide. If you pick anything other than option 3 you are a liar. Option 2 would be the best choice if all could stay together but at the time, the Canadian government wasn't offering exemptions for family members to get visas nor were they providing significant cash loans to help people get home --- How can one person post so much stupid s***? ...
