| Topic | would you make a lateral career move for a salary increase? |
| Romulox28 03/30/20 11:50:20 AM #1: | recruiter just came to me with a job that I could definitely swing, it's very similar to what i do now but obviously with a different company. commute is about 15 - 20 min minutes shorter than my current commute & the pay is about $20k - $25k higher. industry is definitely less interesting to me and the scope/responsibilities of my job wouldnt change, not really many new systems/software to learn etc. previously my general plan is to stay at my job for a little bit longer, learn some more (lots of stuff going on here atm), maybe get started on an MA, and then find a new job that is a step up and more interesting. but money is always nice lol. i am going to speak with their people anyway but what are your thoughts? --- ...
