I'll ask the same question that I asked last week to this question.

If you think COVID-19 is bigger than 9/11, what do you think will change because of it?

9/11 had a lot of implications beyond just "when it happened". There were lots of repercussions for how our society (and other countries around the world) were set up because of it.

Body count isn't a sufficient measurement. Economic damage isn't a sufficient measurement.

That's just my opinion though. I just think if you measure it by deaths, for example, most natural disasters will beat 9/11. Hurricane Maria caused more deaths than 9/11 (in the short term at the very least), but the long term impacts of that on our society is low.
