Gangrel is colorful and takes great pleasure in wreaking vengeance upon Ylisse, and from the sounds of it, he's partially justified by what Emmeryn's dad did. Walhart is a cold, practical, hyper-competent conqueror ~~who is cognizant of Grima's rise and~~ seeking to unite humanity under his rule ~~to prevent it.~~ They both have clear motivations, and they're understandable. You can grasp Walhart's reasoning and you can understand Gangrel's rage, even if they're ultimately wrong. And then there's Validar...sigh In any case, this is a topic for music!
