so, no longer thanking both parties? just democrats, not republicans who authored this bill without the UI stipulation, bitched and moaned when democrats refused to pass it, fought the democrats' changes to it tooth and nail, introduced a last minute amendment that failed along party lines to strip out what democrats added to it, then finally rolled over and surrendered to democrats when it was clear that they would pass a bill with compromises to democrats or no bill at all?
