Yeah right months isn't going to happen. Not even three or four will happen without younger generations rioting. At some point people will get fed up, especially those under 40, and say fuck this and try to go back to normal. The logic would basically be why should we put our lives on hold for a virus that overwhelmingly only kills Boomers and older to protect their lives when they are the very same people that got us into this mess in the first place?
When you get right down to it, it's pretty hard to argue with. The older generations are the ones that fucked the younger generations over with global warming and refusing to do anything about it since they don't need to worry about it, racked up a 20+ trillion dollar debt they don't need to worry about, started multiple wars, increased the wealth gap, made retirement for Millennials sound like a child's fantasy story, ruined the American dream, and so on and so forth. So when you get right down to it, is it really that bad of a thing if a bunch of them die off? So far the death toll is somewhere around 95% 60 and older. Sooooo in the end it will just help the younger generations bring about change they think will help benefit society.
