Admin can make 100+k, and they don't do SHIT except attend meetings, work with Budget stuff, and attempt to tell teachers how to do their jobs. They wear suits and get to play the big boys, while we do all the hard work. As someone who dabbled in teaching for a number of years, this is unfortunately true. While my passion for teaching was there, and my subject matter knowledge impeccable, I was not a good teacher. Upon changing career paths, I was instantly making an extra 10,000 a year. Four years later and a number of promotions later it was closer to 40,000 a year extra. While my current occupation is stressful on occasion, I have never been as exhausted mentally and physically at the end of the day as I was at the end of a school day. --- Strive at all times to bend, fold, spindle, and mutilate. ...
