China has low death numbers because they controlled the infection by implementing extreme isolation measures which their authoritarian government can do. What we are doing now is jack shit compared to them. We still have ass loads of people going out and partying.

2 months is how long it took china to get past their surge. It will be much longer for us and more deadly because we can't drag people down the streets and weld them into their homes.
