So from what I understand,
The most recently passed stimulus bill was approved today, the second bill, which contains provisions such as more funding for testing, paid sick leave for families*, tax credits for small business with less than 500 employees, unemployment insurance, etc.

The $1000 a month rallying cry is something folks like Romney, Yang, (harvard) economists, and others are trying to put/push into the third stimulus bill, which will also pump billions into the airlines, small business loans, and other "distressed" sectors of the economy, among other things.

Haven't searched about TC's OP yet, but it may be true if the whole "Pelosi doesn't want rich people to get a check" sounds about right.
