Specifically, he may have kept up the attempt to keep people from panicking for too long. Also, the rolling out of testing has been a mess, and since Trump is technically in charge of the CDC, its on him. Ive had a bad feeling for weeks that hes been trying to keep people as calm as possible for as long as possible because hes aware of things we arent. Like its a whole lot worse than anyone could imagine and its already everywhere. And he is just buying time while they quietly prepare the inevitable martial law that was going to be a necessity.
