So why not skip the middle man who often fucks everybody over and just cut people UBI for a while so society doesn't descend into chaos when companies find a way to exploit this and not pay employees. This is getting into tin foil hat levels of paranoia though. Most companies are not going to willingly commit tax fraud especially when its so easy to detect by employees.
