Going back to the same planet told me immediately they weren't following the books. First season was great and was largely faithful to the first book, so eh. Granted the 2nd book would be hard to do budget wise, but they can still make it work with some tweaks here and there. I'll have to watch and see what they did with season 2, but I'm not expecting much. It's always a bad sign when you're successful for doing a faithful adaption, then turn around and do your own thing with the material after that. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
