Well I guess we will see how I feel about it tomorrow. Im gonna try and do the no save, no heals run. I just finished hard mode, which was a little frustrating honestly. The best part is you can basically stunlock every boss but Marcus 1 and you bait around Marcus 2. I was really pushing my luck when the game ended. I had burnt too many healing items and had one between both. But I had 202 handgun rounds, 20 shotgun, and several grenade launcher rounds. First run in a couple years and I finished at 3:45. So not bad

Youre going to have to keep in mind the lurker spawn locations. Theyre the run killers of no saves. They can insta kill at low health if they snag you. Always be prepared to blast them at close range with a shotgun. You can keep running at the scripted one and it wont get you unless youre injured. Also yeah, marcus 2 is the problem after that. You really just need to hope you have enough shotgun ammo and any remaining magnum ammo to be able to stall it long enough for Rebecca to open the valves. If you know what youre doing you can consistently kill Marcus 1 with 200ish handgun rounds (on hard) without damage, saving ammo for your stronger weapons.
Of course, if youre doing easy all of this should be a complete cakewalk.
