Also, I'd like to give a shout out to one of my favorite arcade rail shooters of all time...Revolution X. Brilliant gameplay. Brilliant story. You see, Aersomith gets kidnapped during a concert and you have to save them and the world from the bad guys. There's even one part where you play a video recording on a TV of Steven Tyler giving you a "if you're seeing this video, it's too late..." Message. And at the end of the message he tosses the keys to his car through the TV screen and your player catches it. If there's two players playing then it's always a point of interest to see which player's hand reaches out and grabs the keys (even though it doesnt matter), implying that the video recording of Steven Tyler trusts that player with his car more than the other player. This is important because then you get to rub it in the other player's face. But really, most of the game is just shooting your gun and launching CDs at enemies and stuff. CDs do more damage, but they are somewhat limited.
