It's usually the result of being unexpectedly outdrafted, or the opponent taking a risky draft with an early peak, and it paying off perfectly. Early surrender in league is 15 minutes which can only happen if the entire team agrees to surrender. Majority surrender is at 20 minutes. Turret plating, a new mechanic added to LoL first turrets, makes the turrets harder to take out for the first 14 minutes of the game. Winning in under 15 minutes in a LoL game is a stomp.
