I got HBO free trial so I'm seeing what's on it It's hard to fully appreciate the second one without watching the first one. The plot continues pretty directly from it and even ties up some loose ends. With that being said, the first one was a completely different type of movie than this one. The first one is a much more of a horror comedy. This one goes way more sci-fi comedy. I love both of them equally for different reasons, though. I look forward to the inevitable third one.
