We're hitting the point in the "popular shonen anime" cycle where the haters start to get louder and say things that are pointless and contrarian. It's a stupid arc that's really different compared to the first three seasons. They introduce a character (Eri) out of the blue and we're supposed to care about them for absolutely no other reason other than ITS A LITTLE GRL :'( The show goes from a cool ensemble cast that shows off the growth of all these interesting, fun characters, and instead decides to focus on Deku feeling sorry for himself.
