Then again, you would think someone who made a career mainly off doing parodies (to be fair, I think he's always gotten the artist's permission first) would have a more "music should be for everyone to enjoy" mindset. That's entirely different. His form of work is protected under parody law and yet he still goes out of his way to respect the original artist by always asking their permission.
