In terms of real value, no. We live in a finite world, with finite amount of resources and finite value.

In nominal terms, sure; the galaxy is the limit when we're talking hyperinflation.
on one hand, i believe stock indices prices are not reflective of the "real" market value, their growth not reflective of real growth, and thus an unsustainable state of affairs

i must disagree, however, that real value cannot increase - while there are finite resources on earth, there are numerous ways to maximize the utility of these finite resources

i will acknowledge, however, that there is an upper bound to how much population even the optimal utility of resources can sustain - beyond this point, imperative to either expand beyond the planet or to permit the world's societies to return to more localist modes of operation, which have a peculiar way of both managing resources and population more effectively than large governments or international/multinational institutions
