And more generally a ton of rape cases are blown off by law enforcement, and many rape victims don't cooperate because of their lives getting dissected. That doesn't mean that they weren't raped. (It doesn't mean that they were, either, but taking it as definitive evidence of factual innocence is ridiculous).
