If it doesn't look like that's going to happen...then someone needs to step in and set the guy straight on a number of things. He's clearly not going to do it himself. He's getting the message that nothing's wrong because no one is checking him on it... You can sit there and say "why should I have to step up for that". If not you, who will? The sister...? You talk like you're proud of your Asian heritage. Why not prove it further by refusing to stay silent? Hell the awkwardness of that alone will probably chase the guy away before the sister bothers to dump him. Or...OR...just maybe he might accept your complaints and check himself for the sake of staying with the sister. People can be convinced to adjust their behavior. If you don't believe that's also a possibility, you would be joining him in ignorance.
