I watch the new episodes sometimes. There's some quality material still, for sure. One that stands out in my mind is the episode where Krusty goes back to his roots of being a circus clown - that was a lot of fun.

It's still hit-or-miss, but I do agree with what @WazzupGenius00 has heard people say - the recent seasons seem to be a noticeable uptick. The "misses" these days are just unmemorable/inoffensive, from what I've seen; it's been a long time since I've seen true excrement on the level of "That 90s Show" or the Moe's bar rag episode.

In other words, I still appreciate new Simpsons as comfort food.
