Haha, now I see the real reason why the base game had so many Pokmon removed. tbf, there's a free update that allows people without the expansion to either trade for the pokemon or bring them into the game through home. If the expansion pass replaces the whole 3rd version that is the same game but slightly improved then it's not that bad.
