| Topic | Derscribing my relationship with my girlfriend sounds like a terrible sitcom. |
| jackgunney 01/02/20 9:02:04 PM #1: | She's Latina, I'm white. She's a social butterfly, I'm very introverted. Guys have told me I'm dating out of my league, including a couple of my friends. A few of her friends have expressed surprise that she's dating me. Don't worry this hasn't damaged my self esteem, I was telling my family about her, as I believe it's time for her to meet them, and my older brother pointed out that we sound like a terrible sitcom couple. My older sister is excited. Mostly, I think, because I'm finally getting serious with someone, I'm the only one of my siblings that doesn't have children and I'm the only one who isn't married/engaged. She's coming over tomorrow evening after she drops her daughter off at the girl's father's house and I'm very nervous because of how outgoing she is. I'm not worried about my family, other than my siblings, liking her. My dad won't care unless she's terrible and I could bring home a nun and my mom would hate her.
