None of the top metro teams have been playing all that well lately, but I don't think anyone is going to be good enough to take spots from them. I feel like we have our four teams that will make it inhabiting the top 4 spots already, and the 2nd wildcard is up for grabs for a group of teams that are simply more heavily flawed. The Rangers are currently playing the best out of that group, but their remaining schedule puts them against almost all playoff teams; thrice against the Penguins for example.
