Topic	Finally saw the new Star Wars. Way to ruin 40 years of a series lol

People just like to pretend that a disjointed trilogy of films of widely varying quality and qualities is somehow A.) better than the prequels, which suck way worse than the sequels and are almost unwatchable unless you really, really like the worst aspects of Star Wars movies, and B.) not what the original trilogy was in the first place. Right? It's actually jarring af going from ep 4 to ep 5 and watching pretty much every character drastically change offscreen, when they all had fully-developed character arcs anyway.
