Thats why I said in some cases its warranted. On the flipside, there are certain to be some who are using it innocuously, at least, as innocuously as they can be. Its not too uncommon to see sweeping negative generalizations of white people. Of course, if you asked those people, they would say that if it doesnt apply to that white person, dont worry about it.
However, not everyone is as informed or understanding of the intent that goes behind tweet or whatever. Yes, the white dude isnt gonna get arrested at a higher rate because of a tweet, but thats not the point.
