| garlic powder 12/30/19 10:12:49 AM #5: | I won't lie: some of the best multiplayer experiences came from the N64. Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Diddy Kong Racing, WCW World Tour, Revenge, WWF No Mercy, etc etc... But single player experiences are always going to be more convenient in a world when the internet wasn't on consoles yet. The quality of hidden gems on the PS1 PLUS the PS1 best sellers .....kinda blows the N64 out of the water. RPGs really took off on the SNES, but man...they were ON FIRE by the PS1 era. Then you had titles like Metal Gear Solid or Resident Evil which really took off. Not to forget the Dino Crisis series, and the ridiculous amount of JRPGs. N64 had like...one single RPG. PS1 only lacked first person shooters; to which I will always point at Medal of Honor. The BEST FPS on the PS1 by far. It's no Goldeneye or PD, but it can satisfy the craving. --- What, this isn't Resident Evil? Dying means nothing. It's simply a minor setback, if that.-radioraheem ... Copied to Clipboard! |
