It's why women hug each other all the time where as men don't do it anywhere near as often. Even though hugs are totally rad and doesn't have to be sexual at all. Also can we address that last comment. That whole "Female family members slap each other asses, how would that look if the men did it?". Two things. 1. Men on sports teams seem to do this in the locker room in certain(apparently non sexual?) context. Which leads me to... 2. Why the fuck are people slapping each other on the ass in the first place if it isn't sexual? I never got that.
