Goats are closer related to whales than they are to horses.

Camels, llamas and alpacas are in the same taxonomic order as goats, sheep, cattle and deer, but camelids are not true ruminants (they have only 3 stomach chambers, not 4) and they don't have hooves (they have soft toes with a large toenail and a pad similar to a dog's paw pads).

A horse named Reckless served as a Marine in the Korean War and was promoted to the official rank of Staff Sergeant. She also earned two Purple Hearts. She would sleep in the tents with the other Marines and was known to enjoy eating eggs, bacon, beer, and especially Coca-Cola.

Sheep's wool has the unique property of retaining its insulating properties even when soaking wet.
