Topic	Did you get spankings when you were a bad kid?

But the stories from Mom and Dad about their upbringings made me grateful, even more so as I got older. My grandpa attempted to murder my dad literally with a shotgun when my dad called him a bastard. He went looking for him on the farm and didn't find him thank God, otherwise I wouldn't be here. My mom got hit on the regular, 10 kids from my grandma so they all got it. She kinda got away from it when she dropped out in middle school to pick cotton. So yeah, been hit, not like those days though, a slap across the face, hit with a belt. It happens, that's life.
