Topic	Someone explain the appeal Steven Universe to me

But yeah then the fanbase latched onto it, the studio noticed, and they just fucking ran with it. I think a lot of the SJW crowd jumped on too, cuz characters can merge with others, which can change their gender and stuff, since they thought that magically turned it into some sort of progressive masterpiece. I think it's more because almost all of the characters with any power are female and fusion is treated almost as a metaphor for sex, or at least physical intimacy, and a lot implied lesbian glorification.
