I'm arguing that a jack isn't automatically better than bluetooth just because it's wired, because a phone with a bad sound card or shitty jack may not produce better sound even if you have a quality pair of wired headphones. Bluetooth technology has advanced sufficiently and doesn't rely on the limitations of hardware.

When using good wireless headphones with advanced bluetooth, I think the quality of sound is better than most people are used to and really only becomes a matter of contention for proper audiophiles. In which case, listening to music while travelling (and from a phone, probably off a streaming service) is probably not really when you need the best quality of sound.

You are forgetting one thing. Price. If you want bluetooth to be as good as wired, you gotta pay up in comparison. Also the battery life.
