And it's a problem for most normal people. If you like your days off, you probably don't like having to go there on a day off. Like I said, if it was a day you had to work and get a random day off (not a planned one like this one was suppose to be), it would be different. And if it wasn't a half day, it would have also been ok. What this boss did isn't against the rules. But it definitely makes him a shitty boss... Or a shitty person, if he knew about the half day...
