I have a 44mm Galaxy Watch Active 2 LTE model. Upgraded after 1.5 years of the Gear S3 Frontier.

The S3 was the bigger watch clearly, but the slightly smaller size and elimination of the mechanical bezel makes for a more sleeker device. I would even argue that the GWA2 (particularly the stainless steel model I have) looks more premium than the S3. The GWA2 looks to be all stainless steel and glass, whereas the S3 (and the Galaxy Watch after it) do have some plastic bits on the sides (where the mic and speaker are). If Apple ever made a round smartwatch, this is what it would look like.

I don't have any problems with the touch bezel - in fact, I kind of prefer it because the bezel no longer moves when I put on shirts, coats etc. which used to cause the physical bezel to rotate and activate the screen if so enabled. The touch bezel is capacitive, so it only activates if I use my finger. The display is also bigger despite being physically smaller than the S3.
