My guess is that we do get actual canon old Republic adventures if only because it is an easy era to tell stories in since you aren't super worried about stepping on other toes and Revan is confirmed canon and super popular.

I just hope when it happens the universe actually feels thousands of years younger. I love KOTOR but it looks identical to prequel era Star Wars from a design and technology perspective. You can tell Bioware just wanted to make a Star Wars game and only chose the era they did so they wouldn't have to dance around the EU rather than really tackling the idea of a much younger Star Wars world.
Yeah the relatively little that afaik we know about the canon Old Republic makes it seem much older thankfully. Hyperspace buoys needed to travel and shit
