Topic	Literally a new "The Witcher" season and nobody is talking about it.
Varandil 12/20/19 8:10:39 PM #38:	OK I've watched all 8 episodes now. Very good overall, does start a bit rocky but gets better for sure. However, I think it stands up much better as a stand alone thing. As someone who's read the books, I found it very frustrating how much the show deviated from them (and straight up left a load of stuff out). ~~Ciri's story, in particular, was particularly irksome.~~ ~ Ciri isn't supposed to make her way to Brokilon while fleeing Cintra, she does it fleeing from a suitor. It's there that Geralt chances upon her, NOT later on after saving the merchant from the ghouls. ~ The drinking of the water happens after the Dryads have claimed Ciri and Geralt argues that she's his by destiny, and the water not turning her into a Dryad is pretty much the only reason Geralt wins that argument ~~~ Mousesack isn't killed by a bloody Doppler, he bumps into Geralt and Ciri on the edge of Brokilon~~ ~~~ Etc.~~ ~~~ Needs more Rience~~ ~~Ugh.~~ --- Currently playing: Skyrim, Outer Worlds, F1 2019, Europa Universalis 4, Imperator: Rome <cite>Varandil posted [p:931861137] in Literally ...
