| Topic | i bought a little 1911 in .380 |
| FuneralFroth 12/18/19 6:43:17 PM #9: | So i just came back from the range and it shoots very nice. Way smoother than my uncles walther .380. Recoil is very minimal Howver i am experiencing ejection issues when im safeing the gun off. I pull the mag out and bring the slide back to eject the chambered round, but instead of flying out, it appears its soooorrta stuck but not really cause all it takes is a wiggle or tilt back and it falls through the mag-well. When actually shooting though, i dont have issues ejecting casings. I had one failure to feed out of 50 shots but no ejection issues. Now this gun DOES have a magazine safety and im thinking that has something to do with it? Cause while shooting the magazine is in obviously, and it works just fine. Maybe it needs the pressure of the next seated round in the mag to fully eject the chambered round. Or what its only working correctly cause at that point its only ejecting a spent casing instead of a whole cartridge?? My question is.. is this common? In .380 firearms or 1911s? --- Pendejo. ...
