Name something else that has had this level of impact on culture, and on movie-making in general. Everybody and their mother is trying to throw out a 'shared universe' now. Marvel characters nobody ever heard of (guardians of the galaxy, especially) are now top-tier A-list characters that bring in millions if not billions of dollars. Over twenty films all tied together spent ten years working toward one gargantuan cross-over film that became the top-grossing movie release of all time.

lol I don't care how much it grossed or how many films shared the same universe
it just sucks and honestly i'm sad MCU made so much money coz now all the studios want to copy its approach
