| Romulox28 12/17/19 9:45:17 AM #46: | the problem i see with giving housing to the homeless is that i dont think a lot of them are mentally equipped to manage a home, this just makes the homeless someone else's problem and i dont think many people would be willing to step up. a little while ago i got really into a youtube channel that interviews homeless people and one of the things many of them said when asked why they were sleeping outside instead of checking into a shelter was that outside was preferable due to the shelters being pretty dangerous. its just a really hard situation, you can do smaller things, like decriminalizing drugs, that might help, but i think in a modern society that gets more complex every day, its a really hard problem to solve. --- ...
