Thats the face someone makes when they do NOT want to be where they are, and are doing it for reasons other than love. That blank stare into space, where you are just going through the motions, and only smile if you are looked upon or are talked to, that says a lot. Hes just providing a service for money and gifts, simple as that. Kinda sad and gross, IMO.
