Television has never been given such a phenomenally orchestrated backdrop. Somehow, this score summons up the original bleak 80s deconstructionist tendencies while still evolving for the late 10s and early 20s. The decompressed sound of industrialism paints an undeniably sci-fi soundscape for the series, unflinchingly cold and hard. And let's not forget that it actually, legitimately, kicks ass. Music for TV or film rarely feels like boots kicking in doors and beating the crap out of lesser musical scores. It's a bully of a composition. --- "It is too easy being monsters.
