The music of this film kept me on my toes, never comfortable, always anticipating what was coming next. The main theme itself is surreal and nightmarish, like a funeral march down a spinning alleyway. It works so wonderfully, painting an image totally in sync with Phoenix's Arthur Fleck. Ultimately, a powerful work by Hildur Gudnadottir, enlivened by excellent, careful selections of preexisting music throughout the film. --- "It is too easy being monsters.
