Only ever brake checked one guy, was a couple months ago, he had his high beams on and kept getting behind me no matter what lane I went to. He was in a Jeep, I was in a sedan and he was right up behind me.

Got so fucking frustrated, definitely went hard on the brakes and then sped off to get away from that situation.

But in general I hate road rage and don't think people should do that unless there's no alternative.

I tap my brakes repeatedly rather than brake check them. I let them pass if there's room. Then I tailgate them with my brights on and lay on my horn. Until they can outrun me.

Im not talking about other drivers. I mean like...Hitting the brakes or swerving to fuck with passengers in your own car.

How exactly does it "prove a point?"
I could see it applying some revenge or punishing them for something but not really proving anything unless you were specifically discussing inertia and it literally does serve as evidence to support your specific point about objects in motion..

Say you tell someone not to do X, because if you wrecked it would be bad. Maybe theyre sitting a funny way, or just not wearing a seat belt. So you swerve or break in order to prove your point, by throwing them around a bit from the sharp change in momentum.
