Also, I don't know what set this guy off. My sister could be an addict and spent their rent money on drugs for example. In which case it would be rational for the guy to lose his shit for a number of reasons. Your argument is assuming that the guy is being an asshole and the sister is just bearing his abuse. People just don't go off the deep end for no reason. Context is important.
