Typically, unless you pay a bit extra for accidental death/dismemberment as a part of your benefits with your employer, your employer isn't going to pay for your funeral unless they choose to do so out of kindness. Unless of course, your death/dismemberment can be directly tied to some fault of the company.

In this situation, an armed robbery taking place and the robbers choosing to hijack that particular vehicle isn't the fault of UPS.
Pointing fingers for fault instead of compassionately taking care of an employee who died on the job is a shitty take.

Here comes the businesses only exist to make money argument from a borderline sociopathic line of thought.
