We broke up shortly before college, and i dated another girl for two years. Me and my high school ex then started dating again. It was a little hard for me to get over the fact that she had been with a few other guys other than me, while i had only been with one other person. And it wasn't like she dated them, she had just been fooling around with them in a very casual sense. It took me a while, but i just had to accept that she had a life after me, and had been with other people. There was nothing either of us could do about it, and we both knew she hadn't done anything wrong, which means it was up to me to get over it. It wasn't her job to make me feel better. We can't change people's past actions, even if she regretted it, it doesn't matter, we are all just trying to live our lives. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
